The session

From IP to Stage.

Strategies for Adaptation and Growth

James’s session explored how an idea becomes a stage production: developing the material, assembling the creative team and considering touring and the West End. The focus was on the work and partnerships needed to help a musical find its next audience.

His visit also brought conversations with Korean producers and international delegates. Coverage in Yonhap and Edaily reflects that exchange, from the potential for Korean musicals in the UK to the market’s wider industry programme.
